If you're in Hong Kong and plan to do some toy shopping for babies or toddlers, this is definitely one stop you need to make.
Komodo Kidz has a limited range of
toys, mostly just for babies and toddlers, but everything they have is
ON SALE. Their popular lines include
Chuggington,
Thomas and Friends (Wooden Railway sets),
Lamaze,
ThinkFun,
ALEX,
the First Years and some others. Komodo Kidz is the licensed distributor of these brands in Hong Kong. If any of their brands interest you (or your kids), then the trip to their shop (more like an office) is worth the hassle.

They are located in
Wong Chuk Hang road in Aberdeen, away from the usual commercial district, but conveniently located near several bus stops. We came from Tsim Sha Tsui area, so we took the MTR to Wanchai, walked around the block, to Johnston Road then took a bus. There are several buses here bound for the Aberdeen area, you can just take any of them and go down at Wong Chuk Hang Road. From there, cross the street to Regency Centre Phase 2 and go up to the 2nd floor. When the elevator door opens, you'll immediately see a large Thomas and Friends poster so you'll know you're in the right place. Ring the doorbell and they'll let you in their office/ warehouse. The staff that greeted us was very friendly and accommodating.

Most of the items they have seem so be past models, probably returned by their dealers, or open-box and display items. Most come in their original packaging but they did have some wooden
Thomas & Friends tracks that were just bundled and wrapped in plastic. These were items previously on display in stores, or used as free-play items. All still in very good condition though.
